Otter Kids Pediatric Dentistry

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to this page and any related pages operated by Otter Kids Pediatric Dentistry ("we," "us," "our"), with offices at 1155 Kelly Johnson Blvd, Suite 210, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 and 791 W Kelley's Rd, Woodland Park, CO 80863. By using this page, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this page.

2. For Parents and Guardians

This page is intended for parents and legal guardians seeking dental care for their children, and for guardians or caregivers of adult patients with special needs. Appointments for patients under 18 must be scheduled by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing consent for treatment. For adult patients with special needs, consent must come from the patient or their legal guardian, as appropriate.

3. Not Dental Advice

The content on this page is for general information only. It is not dental or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for an in-person exam by a licensed dentist. Using this page or calling our office does not create a dentist-patient relationship. A dentist-patient relationship begins only after your child is seen in our office. If your child has a dental emergency, call our office at (719) 826-8129. For a medical emergency, call 911.

4. Results Vary

Treatment outcomes depend on each child's oral health, history and home care habits. We do not guarantee any specific result. Photos, reviews and testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of similar results.

5. Sedation and Treatment Recommendations

Sedation options and all other treatments are recommended only after an exam and a discussion with a parent or guardian. Not every child is a candidate for every treatment or sedation option. Emergency appointments depend on availability.

6. Insurance and Payment

We accept most dental insurance plans, including Medicaid and TRICARE. Coverage and eligibility vary by plan, and a plan name appearing on this page does not guarantee coverage for any specific service.
We confirm benefits with your insurer where possible, but final coverage is determined by your plan. You are responsible for any amount your plan does not cover.
Any treatment will be explained before it begins.

7. Membership Plans

Otter Infant (ages 0 to 2, $299 per year), Otter Child (ages 3 to 12, $399 per year) and Otter Teen (ages 13 and up, $479 per year) include only the services each plan lists, plus 15% off additional treatment.
Membership plans are not insurance, are not a qualified health plan under the Affordable Care Act, are not prepayment for future services and are not payment for access to discounted services. They are a direct payment arrangement between you and our practice.
Each plan runs for 12 months. Treatment not included in the plan is paid at the time of service.
The 15% discount does not apply to oral sedation or general anesthesia fees.
The annual membership fee cannot be paid with third-party financing such as CareCredit.
Plan details and pricing are subject to change.

8. Calls and Text Messages (SMS Terms)

When you call us, our phone system may log your phone number and the time and length of your call so we can return missed calls and measure how our advertising performs.
SMS program: If you consent to receive text messages from Otter Kids Pediatric Dentistry, you agree to receive customer care messages from us, such as replies to your inquiry, appointment reminders and follow-ups.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (719) 826-8129.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile opt-in consent or phone numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Military Affiliation

References to Dr. Ken's service in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve, and to the military communities we serve, are for informational purposes only. They do not imply endorsement by the U.S. Navy, the Department of Defense or any military branch or installation.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

This page may include content or links from third parties, such as Google Maps and Google reviews. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those websites or services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos (including our otter logo) and design elements on this page belong to Otter Kids Pediatric Dentistry or are used with permission.
